    TheChillout's Forum Rules

    The Chill Out Forum reserves the right to change these rules at any time. It is your responsibility to read these rules regularly, although the staff tries to be fair.

    Please abide to these rules. If you choose to ignore, you may have a change of getting banned.

    1.No Advertisement.
    Don’t make topics/threads about your website/forum etc. You will likely to get banned for doing this. You can put a link to your website in your signature instead (but please don’t start persuading people to look at your signature) or in the ‘Website’ part of your profile. #

    2.No Adult Material.
    Please do NOT post any media with adult content. This includes pictures and sexual words or anything else we deem inappropriate. You will definitely be given a infraction for disobeying this rule.

    3.No Spamming.
    These are Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages in other words SPAM. Spamming is anything that does not link to the topics/threads or the discussions. This is also when you write comments as only one word. Please write more than one word when you comment. You need to write at least 20 characters/letters or more for your post or it will be considered as SPAM.

    4.No Fighting/Flaming.
    This is an enjoyable and fun forum and we don’t want it to be ruined with forumers fighting over things. This could make other forum members very uncomfortable.

    5.No Excessive Swearing or Cussing.
    Most of the swear words are banned from the forum with censors. But this does not mean you can start swearing/ cussing and abbreviating the words as well. Report to any moderator or admin if anyone you see has broken this rule. Here is a list of words that you are allowed to say:
    -Damn
    -Crap

    6.No Double Posting.
    This is where you start posting two or more times in a row within a few minutes. Just say everything, you want to say in one post (you can use the edit button if you need to add more to the post you created).

    7. No multiple accounting.
    This means you are allowed only one account. If you want a name change, etc, you have to buy one in the forum shop. Your extra account may be banned and you will most likely receive infraction(s) Also, please notify us if you have a brother or sister on the forum so then we will know that you are not double accounting.

    8. No 'cheating.'
    No use of third-party software to by any means take advantage of this forum. This also includes hacking, gaining control on accounts that do not belong to you, and anything else considered harmful. This also includes discussing hacking or taking advantage/harming any other website for any reason and by any means.

    9. No back-seat moderating.
    There are mods on this forum for a reason, please do not interfere with their job. This usually only leads to flaming.

    10. No videos/music in signatures.
    Videos lag loading of pages greatly, take up a lot of space, and if they start automatically they can be annoying. Music playing in signatures also lags the loading of pages, and it gets very annoying.

    11. Avatars
    Users are permitted to utilise a gallery avatar or upload one. User
    defined avatars are to be no larger than 200 pixels square, contain no
    animation, contain no image which attempts to portray the user as
    having an official status here (e.g. mimicking ranks or copying avatars
    of team members), may not exceed 12KiB (12288 Bytes) in filesize and have a consistently high availability (i.e. links to images on slow servers or those prone to failure may be removed)

    12. Signatures
    Signatures must not contain more than 3 images. Each image must not be greater than 600px wide and 200px tall. Links to websites may not be obtrusive and may not be above the "large" size. The Chill Out reserves the right to remove and/or modify and signature for any reason.

    13. "Official" Topics
    There is no making "official" topics on The Chillout unless a staff member makes it. If an "official" topic is made, it will be locked and moved to the trash. This is subject to
    previous points. #

    Infractions:
    Infractions is what you are given on this forum whenever you choose to not follow the rules. When you recieve 5 infractions, you get banned. At four infractions, you get banned for 2 days. Please follow the rules so you do not get any infractions.
