    Is it possible that there can be some more paint.net tutorials with no needed plug ins and more of a full thing not just image tranparency.

    You'll have to download the plugins. Check the user's reputation if you are suspicious about viruses.

    Get an Anti Virus software so if a plug-in does have a virus, it will disallow it. Having no Anti Virus leaves you vulnerable to viruses.

    Yeh a got some thing my dad installed its so annoying when it finds something it makes a horrible screaching sound...

    I've downloaded from the Paint.net forums before, and I trust the plugins from there. I always scan anything I download, though.

    Just download a free antivirus. I'd suggest AVG, but it takes up too much memory. Avira is a semi-good one. (I have this one on a computer. I don't like it, but it works well enough to scan downloaded files.)

    I hear Avast is a good one, but have never used it.
