I am typing this due to the fact I am afraid that this forum will go any day now. The forum has gotten much more inactive and it is pretty much my fault for not being here to update the place properly like I should be. Unfortunately, I still can't be here to do this.

Now, this forum was very successful and I appreciate what you all have done, especially the users that have been here since 07-08. Think twice before calling this forum a fail because in the end, we did succeed.
-We were once active. There was a time when it was not so easy to be able to name all the active users on here by heart. Every user was cooperative and we were doing great. It wasn't as great as chewit official forums but it was still something.
-After the summer of 08, we kind of lost it. We had a few users who flamed the users away and the worst part was that they were on the staff....

I could have been a bit more specific but that is really all you need to know. I am still surprised that this forum is almost two years old. We have lest than two months to get there but I am afraid we won't get there.

We will not be closing up the forum. It is up for you to post or not.

As for me, I will continue to be inactive I guess. School isn't that bad but I want to focus more on other things.

Mm. People have good memories of this place, maybe they'd come back one day when we're dead, and read through the old topics. I feel happy we've made it this far.

It's because of the staff. You quit because there's nothing for you to do. No-one ever spams any more, because they think "What's the point, they're useless!". You need to revive this place to it's old stature and not to a place where fancy-pants just waddle around going "omasmaosaodfhg" and swearing, flaming and all the rule-breaking, so that the staff members have a job to do. Maybe you could unban the users that were banned and then send a MASS email regarding the changes.

You don't know how absurd it is to be an admin on a forum with (hypothetically) no active users. There's nothing to do here, am I correct? You're just empty here, aren't you? We need to take some crazy solution!

Fail. Tbh there is not many active users(theres like 15). Either we advertise on CCP(Don't ask me, I have no purpose at that forum) or we survive on 15 members. I know that CCP is full of 7 year olds etc. but they are our last resort to advertising on.

I say we do something crazy.

HERE'S WHY: The facts, THIS FORUM IS HONESTLY CRAP NOW! We need SOMETHING TO REVIVE THIS PLACE. I see at least 4 people quitting per week.

I agree we should Un-BAN EVERYBODY, bring back the OLD themes, and send MASS MAILS telling people to come back. During the week or 2 that we send the mass mails, we post and create topics like CRAZY. That way everyone comes back, starts to post, and then they make topics and this place jump starts. Also, I think we should do REAL giveaways. I may be able to ask the developers of iPod touch apps for promo codes to GIVE AWAY. That draws people in to us and gets people to look at their apps! Then, once people are pretty much locked into this forum, we put 1 paid ad in the page somewhere on the side. The money from that advertisement goes to giveaways of iTunes cards, Amazon Gift Certificates, which draws more people in to look at the ads which gets us more money which lets us do more giveaways which gets more people. You see the vicious chain? All we need is a jump start.

I propose to UNBAN, MASS MAIL, and POST LIKE CRAZY. Who's with me?
