Right, here's my idea.
We can have users keep their rank as whatever we want... but we have a picture underneath it, like the stars and the amount of stars shows where they are at posting... we also colour them depending on their number of poosts, but the ranks stay as they want.

We would need to make five of each person's rank then. It isn't easy. And we are limited to the amount of ranks we can have set up in the panel. There is a list on forumotion if you are curious

I don't suppose it would let us make one of each little picture to represent how many posts they have and then set that with a minumum of posts, with no rank title. What that would give you, in theory, is their rank and the image of this automatic rank. But, what I suspect will happen is one will overpower the other..
Nope. Tried it and it won't let you make a blank one. -shrugs-
I suppose we have a section (maybe even in the shop) where once they reach a certain amount they can come and tell us so we can update their rank with the new picture.
